Welcome to FlipShotz! We know that privacy can be a confusing topic, so we want to take the time to explain how we handle your information in simple terms. Our goal is to protect your personal data while making sure you have the best experience using our mobile app, website and services.
This document explains what information we collect, why we need it, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out to us!
This policy applies to anyone who uses our mobile app or website. It covers the data we collect when you:
Use our app to do the following:
However, this policy does not cover websites or services that we don't own or control. If you click on a link to another website, please note that it has its own privacy policies that we do not control.
To give you the best possible experience, we collect different types of information:
This includes things like:
Since our app is all about creating photo books, we collect the photos you upload and any details attached to them (like date and location, if available). We only use these photos to print your books. We never sell or share them unless you specifically ask us to do so.
To make sure our app works properly, we collect information like:
If you contact us (via email or customer support), we keep a record of those conversations so we can help you better in the future.
If you interact with content on our social media profiles (for example, if you "like" or share a post from Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram accounts), those social media sites may share information about you with us, including your public profile, e-mail address and friend list. If you choose to "like" or share content, information about you may be publicly displayed on the social network, depending on your privacy settings. If you post information on a social media or another third-party service that references FlipShotz or our products and services, your post may be used on our social media pages or other marketing materials.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information—ever. However, we do share certain information with trusted companies that help us run our business, including:
We may also need to share information if required by law, such as responding to a court order.
One of the key benefits we offer at FlipShotz is the ability to share the photo books you create with family and friends. If you choose to share a photo book with another user, you can do so within the app by selecting the "Share" option and entering the recipient's email address. If the recipient already has a FlipShotz account, they may receive a notification within the app and via email letting them know you have shared a photo book with them. If they do not have an account, they will be invited to create one in order to view the shared content.
The recipient will have viewing access to the shared photo book but will not be able to edit or modify it unless you grant them additional permissions. You can manage your shared photo books in your account settings and revoke access at any time.

We want to make sure you understand all the terms we use in this privacy policy. Here's a friendly guide to what everything means:
Your personal registration with FlipShotz that lets you create and order photo books. Think of it like your own digital workspace where you can save your projects and preferences.
When computer systems make decisions about things like showing you certain offers or features without a human being directly involved. For example, our system might automatically suggest layouts based on the types of photos you upload.
Small pieces of information that websites store on your device, like a digital note-taker that remembers things about your visit. For instance, cookies help us remember what's in your shopping cart or keep you logged in between visits.
That's us – FlipShotz! We're responsible for deciding how and why your personal information is processed. Think of us as the custodian of your data.
Everything we do with your information, from storing your photos to processing your payment when you order a photo book. It's like a recipe that describes all the steps we take to handle your information.
Any information that could identify you or be linked to you. This includes obvious things like your name and email address, but also less obvious things like your device information or shopping preferences.
The custom photo albums you create using our service, including all the photos, layouts, and designs you choose.
That's you! Anyone who uses our app, website, or services.
